About the Role:
As O&M Service Manager and Takeover coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our solar farms. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, with excellent career growth potential in the rapidly expanding solar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Experienced leader responsible for the end-to-end management, coordination, and optimisation of solar PV plant operations, primarily focused on WA and SA, with a flexible remit to support operations across other regions nationwide as business needs arise.
Oversees O&M teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant performance while meeting contractual, financial, and operational targets.
Drives strong stakeholder engagement with clients, internal departments, and suppliers, while promoting a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
Manages maintenance planning (preventive and corrective), HV switching activities, and shutdown coordination, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to service agreements.
Accountable for budget management, contract compliance, reporting, and the effective use of CMMS systems to optimise resources, scheduling, and asset performance. Leads risk management initiatives, site audits, and HSEQ compliance, maintaining the highest safety standards across all operations.
Plays a key role in asset takeovers, client relationship management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and long-term performance.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a reliable, safety-focused Electrical Leader who can take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:
Unrestricted Class Electrical License (Required)
High Voltage Switching Qualification (High desirable)
Work safely in the construction industry Card (Required)
Cert. IV Work Healt & Safety (High desirable)
A valid Driver’s License
Additionally, you must be:
Committed to travel nationwide
Committed to safety and compliance with all WH&S regulations
Proactive with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills
A team player with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
