About the Role:
Site Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our solar farms. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, with excellent career growth potential in the rapidly expanding solar industry.
Location: Gulgong region (NSW)

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience as Site Manager O&M of utility scale Solar or renewable projects
Safety management, including electrical risk management.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
High level of proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Focus on HSE
HV experience
Experience and training in utility scale inverter technology (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination of all O&M staff & work activities
Supervision of the operation of the Plant & site personnel
Perform all required electrical & HV works
Update & Utilisation of CMMS including issue/schedule work requests
Review work Permits and HSE compliances
Shutdown and re energisation of the power stations and substation (HV switching)
Perform any intervention and/or corrective action
Managing the preparation and review of project risk assessments and implementing control measures and continuous improvement initiatives, in conjunction with the ROM and HSE Team
Liaise with the suppliers (open tickets and warranty claims as required)
Ensure safety remains the highest priority by promoting safety within the work group and ensuring no unsafe activities are permitted Preparation and submission of reports if required.
The O&M Site Manager will be available to work in shifts and to hold the emergency phone during nominated weekdays, weekends and public holidays to cover the on-call service.
They shall be responsible for the emergency response at that time and will manage the incidences diligently
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a reliable, safety-focused Electrical Tradesperson who can take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:
Unrestricted Class Electrical License (NSW) (Required)
High Voltage Switching Qualification (Required)
Work safely in the construction industry Card (Required)
Cert. IV Work Healt & Safety (High desirable)
Low Voltage Rescue Training
CPR Training
A valid Driver’s License
Additionally, you must be:
Committed to safety and compliance with all WH&S regulations
Proactive with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills
A team player with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
